Upgrade Sidewalks and Curb Ramps to Comply With the American With Disabilities Act (Ada) County : Caswell, Guilford, Orange & Rockingham The North Caolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for upgrading sidewalks and curb ramps to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) at various locations in Caswell, Guilford, Orange and Rockingham Counties with populations less than 5000. All quantities are estimates. The Contractor shall furnish labor, equipment and materials. All prospective bidders shall be prequalified with the Department of Transportation prior to submitting a bid. Contractors who are not prequalified may obtain information and forms for prequalifying from the Contractual Services Unit, Division of Highways, Department of Transportation, 1509 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC. All required prequalification statements and documents shall be filed with the Contractual Services Unit at least four weeks prior to the date of opening bids. The date of availability for this project is July 16, 2025. The completion date for this project is April 30, 2026.
