Alternate Bid Item for the 29th Street 100,000 Gallon Ground Storage Tank A Summary of the Work Items is Included Below: 1. Complete Reconditioning of the Fort 1,500,000 Gallon and McCall Heights 500,000 Gallon Ground Storage Tanks. 2. Miscellaneous Repairs to All Three Ground Water Storage Tanks. 3. Improvements to All Three Ground Water Storage Tank Sites. 4. Alternate Bid Item for the 29th Street 100,000 Gallon Ground Storage Tank. The Work of Constructing the Project Will Be Let Under One Contract if an Award Should Be Made; and the Owner Reserves the Right to Select the Bid Considered by the Owner to Be in the Best Interest of the Owner A Cashier's Check or Bid Bond Payable to the Anniston Water Works and Sewer Board in an Amount Not Less Than Five (5) Percent of the Amount of the Bid, but in No Event More Than $10,000, Must Accompany the Bidder's Proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and Evidence of Insurance Required in the Bid Documents Will Be Required at the Signing of the Contract. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Proposals and to Waive Technical Errors if, in the Owner's Judgment, the Best Interest of the Owner Will Thereby Be Promoted.
