Provide & install a septic system in selected residence in Fairbanks, Alaska. Work shall be completed as stated in the Scope of Work. Plan set # AKA-23-FAI Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $50,000 - $60,000 S1. Residential Effluent Pumping Station (REPS) a. CONTRACTOR is to provide and install a new Residential Effluent Pumping Station (REPS) septic system as specified in the planset and specifications. b. Compensation may include payment for the septic tank, risers, arctic pipe, pump, cleanout, distribution box, gravel/sand, inspection ports, insulation, fittings, excavation, backfill, pressure mound drain-field, connection to the home and, all materials and labor necessary to install a complete septic system. c. Payment for each completed septic system as specified shall be made at the lump sum price bid for each site. S2a. Sewer Service Line a. CONTRACTOR shall trench and install sewer service line (SSL) at the property residence plumbing stub-out. It should also be noted that the sewer service line is to be connected at the home's interior plumbing stub-out; insulated 4" x12" Insulated Arctic Pipe, with 4" of board stock insulation over pipe, from the house to the septic tank (45 FT). b. Compensation shall include payment for installing SSL, connection of service line to existing house plumbing or stubbed out as noted in the planset, fittings, rigid board insulation, excavation, backfill and other necessary items required for the installation of the sewer service line. c. Payment for installed sewer service line as specified shall be made at the unit price bid for the exact length and type of sewer service line installed S2b. Sewer Service Line (Pressure Force Main) a. CONTRACTOR shall install new 2" SDR 11, HDPE pressure force main inside 4" x 12" arctic pipe, with 4" of board stock insulation covering the pipe from the lift station to the pressure mound drain-field (20ft). b. Compensation shall include payment for installing SSL Pressure Force Main, connection of service line from the lift station to the pressure mound drain-field, fittings, rigid board insulation, excavation, backfill and other necessary items required for the installation of the sewer service line. c. Payment for installed sewer service line as specified shall be made at the unit price bid for the exact length and type of sewer service line installed. S3. Septic Tank Abandonment a. CONTRACTOR shall abandon in place existing infiltrators and associated pipe. The work covered includes furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, and materials, and performing all operations in connection with septic system abandonment / removal. b. Abandon existing septic system per ADEC regulations. c. Compensation shall include all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the task. d. Payment for septic tank abandonment shall be made at the lump sum price bid. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
