Renovation of a municipal facility in Baltimore, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Repairs and restoration to the loose bricks at the eave and vicinity on wall on the south side of the old BGE building. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, tools, equipment, supervision, permits, Insurance, etc., necessary to provide the above service. Small Business Reserve Designation Yes. Sequence of work is subject to the review and approval of the Owner and may be dependent on the status of other ongoing construction contracts on and adjacent to the Work of this contract. The DPSCS's Division of Capital Construction and Facilities Maintenance (DCCFM) requesting bids to provide repairs and restoration to the loose bricks at the eave and vicinity on the wall on the south side of the old BGE building: The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, tools, equipment, supervision, permits, Insurance, transportation, etc. necessary to provide repairs and restoration to the loose bricks at the eave and vicinity on wall on the south side of the old BGE building. 1. Provide restoration of loose and fallen brick on the south wall of the old BGE building. 2. Extend and/or remove existing gutter attached to the eave of the building on the Southside. 3. Provide permanent stabilization of the brick veneer and mortar backup. 4. Clean sidewalk of debris and dispose of offsite. Contract shall be completed within 90 days from award. If the work is not Substantially Complete as stipulated in the General Conditions and as established in Article 1.7 of this Section, the Contractor shall be liable for liquidated damages of ONE HUNDRED ($100.00) DOLLARS for each calendar day, as provided in the General Conditions, Section 7.06. This procurement has been designated for a small business preference under COMAR 21.11.01.05. The procurement agency will accept the most favorable responsive bid from a responsible small business (COMAR 21.01.02.01B(80)) if the bid of the small business does not exceed the most favorable responsive bid received from a responsible bidder who is not a small business by: (1) more than 5%; (2) more than 7% for a veteran-owned small business; (3) more than 8%for a disabled-veteran-owned small business; or (4) the percentage otherwise identified in the solicitation as the small business preference. This procurement is being conducted under Small Procurement Regulations as set forth in Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 21.05.07. The basis of award shall be the most favorable bid price. In the event of tie bids, the provisions of COMAR 21.05.02.14 shall determine the successful bidder. As part of the determination to be considered responsive, the Bidder must document in its Bid that it satisfies the following Minimum Qualifications Bidder shall be a licensed general contractor and insured in the State of Maryland .
