The Work includes all site works including Earthworks, Site Improvement works, General Building Construction works, Plumbing Construction works, Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Construction works and Electrical Construction works, as indicated on the Bidding/Construction Drawings and Project Manual which includes Technical Specifications, any Alternates that may be taken by the owner and any modifications thereof. Estimated Contract Value: $4.5 Million The project will be bid with four (4) separate prime contracts: Contract No.1-General Construction; Contract No. 2- Plumbing Construction; Contract No. 3- HVAC Construction; and Contract No. 4-Electrical Construction. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the County of Schuylkill or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder naming the County of Schuylkill as oblige and acceptable surety in the amount of 10 percent of the Total Bid shall be submitted with each bid. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. No bid will be considered unless it is accompanied by the required guaranty. Money orders and personal money orders are not acceptable form of bid security. The Contractor will be required to comply with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations ACT in providing equal employment opportunities in connection with all work. This bid is for a public works contract and bidder is therefore subject to the provisions, duties, obligations and penalties of the Public Works Employment Verification Act, 43 P.S. 167.1-167.11. All submitted bids shall be accompanied with the Public Works Employment Verification Form.
