The Lapeer County ISD Board of Education is soliciting sealed competitive bids for asphalt replacement at its Education and Technology Center. The successful Bidder(s) must be prepared to provide Certificates of Acord confirming they have the following insurance coverages upon request: a. Worker's Compensation (minimum $100,000) b. Liability (minimum $300,000) c. Coverage pertaining to vehicles, property damage and public liabilities, and personal injury. The successful Bidder(s) must be prepared to provide 3 references upon request. Bids that exceed $50,000 must include a certified check or bid bond payable to the Lapeer County ISD in an amount equivalent to 5% of the base bid. The successful Bidder(s) must commence work no later than July 1, 2025 and complete work no later than August 15, 2025. Bids must be guaranteed for 90 days from the date of the bid opening and include shipping/handling costs. The Lapeer County ISD Board of Education reserves the right, at its discretion, to accept or reject any or all bids, or portions thereof; to waive omissions, irregularities, or clerical errors not affecting compliance with the bid specifications; and to add or delete items and adjust quantities, if applicable.
