This is a unit price contract therefore, payments will be made based on actual quantities of work performed at the unit prices submitted in the bid. In the event the awarded contractor's total bid amount does not reach the full budget, the City reserves the right to identify and add additional streets to the project through the change order process. The bidder hereby agrees to furnish all labor, materials and supplies required to construct this project in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents within the time set forth therein and at the prices stated on the Pricing Sheet (Bid Schedule/Bid Form). Prices provided shall include all labor, materials, overhead, profit, insurance, etc. to cover the finished work of the project. All work shall meet and be in accordance with Texas Department of Transportation, 2014 Standard Specifications for Construction of Highways, Streets, and Bridges Item 340 (attached). The overlay will be on selected City of Temple streets, alleys, and parking lots. All of the overlay work shall be accomplished by the contractor that is awarded the bid. Subcontracting will not be allowed. The proposed overlay locations list is subject to change as determined by the contract administrator, although the scope of the project would remain the same.
