Site work for a water / sewer project in Strasburg, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work included under this section comprises the furnishing of all tools, materials, equipment, labor, freight, cartage and supplies necessary to install all sanitary sewer work as indicated on the plans, joint materials, connections, concrete, brick, mortar, framas and covers and any other materials incidental to the completion of this portion of the work. The Furnishing of Labor and Materials for the Installation of 1,100 Lineal Feet of 8" Diameter Ductile Cast Iron Water Lines and 1,077 Lineal Feet of 8" Diameter Pvc Sanitary Sewers. Payment must be by company check, cashier's check or cash. No personal checks shall be accepted. Make check payable to George A. Fiedler and Associates. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of 1) a certified check, or cashier's check, or letter of credit, equal to 10% of the bid; or 2) a bid guaranty bond for the full amount of the bid; both forms of guaranty as provided in Chapter 153 of the Ohio Revised Code and in the project specifications. The amount of the bid for said guaranty purposes shall include all additive and deductive alternates. All bid guaranties shall be conditioned that if the bid is accepted within sixty (60) days of the bid opening, a proper contract shall be executed, and that upon failure or refusal to enter into said contract within ten (10) days after receipt of notification of award the bidder and the surety on any bond shall be liable to the Village in an amount not to exceed ten (10) per cent of the bid. Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex or national origin. All bids shall comply with all of the requirements of the drawings, specifications and contract documents. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Specifications and plans on which bids are requested are on file at the office of George A. Fiedler and Associates at 234 North Tuscarawas Avenue in Dover, Ohio. George A.
