**As of July 15,2025, the project was awarded to Deerwood Construction Inc, Ltd., with an awarded amount of $1,987,663.50.** Summary of Work: The Water Pressure Improvements Project for the Town of Pecos City is an effort to improve water volume and pressure in Areas 1 and 6 to support continued city growth and the Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD. Managed by WTC, Inc., the project includes upgrades to the water distribution system, with the installation of new 6" to 12" water lines along key streets such as Hwy 17, 2nd, 3rd, Walnut, Missouri, Stafford, Moore, Iowa, Nebraska, Texas, Normandy Drive, Medical Drive Veterans Boulevard, and Ginger Lane. Question Deadline 06/10/2025 Each bidder will be required to submit with his bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond, in the amount of five (5) percent of the total of the bid submitted, made payable to TOWN OF PECOS CITY as a bid guarantee that bidder will enter into contract and execute bond and work guaranty in the forms provided within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract. Bids without the required check or bid bond will not be considered. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive all technicalities and to accept the proposals/bids they deem to be in their best interest.
