Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Huntsville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility.
This will be an immersive, narrative-driven environment that combines physical and digital interactives with high-fidelity simulation technologies. The purpose for this RFP is to have interested and prequalified professionals provide a proposal which details the design and installation of the Project Astra Simulator for the new Inspiration 4 Skills Training Building currently under construction at the campus of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Huntsville, AL 35805. Due to the nature of this training equipment and its installed location, only vendors who have been approved to bid pursuant to pre-qualification procedures and criteria established by the Owner will be eligible to bid for the Project. Written prequalification procedures and criteria are available for review at the office of Sam Mitchell, Director of Procurement, U.S. Space and Rocket Center. All potential bidder may also send an official request for the Prequalification Criteria via email to samm@spacecamp.com Bids must be submitted on DCM C-3 Bid Proposal forms. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
