Site work for a water / sewer project in Houghton Lake, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Houghton Lake Flats Wildlife Floodings: Control Structure and Pump Facility Improvements Houghton Lake , Roscommon County. Work includes construction of a temporary cofferdam, dewatering, earthen dike rehabilitation on the Impoundment Dike, South _ Dike and Z-Dike including widening of top surface, reshaping and flattening of side slopes, increasing the height of the dikes, _ construction of an aggregate surface, and slope restoration. The existing pump station along with piping, pipe supports, and _ the existing control structure will be demolished and removed from the site in their entirety. A new pump station including wet _ well, piping, pipe supports, reinforced fiberglass enclosure with foundations, valves, pump, and electrical components shall be _ constructed. A new concrete control structure including grating, removable handrails, manual debris screens, aluminum stop _ logs, sluice gate with removable operator, and floating log boom shall be constructed. All miscellaneous amenities as noted on _ the drawings shall be included.
