BACKGROUND The City of Mountain View is seeking qualified vendors to provide two (2) solar and battery powered mobile electric vehicle chargers. One (1)solar and battery charger shall have three (3) charging ports. The second solar and battery charger shall have two (2) charging ports. The provided unit shall at a minimum, have the following capabilities: o Off-the-grid electric vehicle (EV) charging; o No trenching required upon installation; o Mobility; flexibility to relocate; o Use of solar energy; o Contain a battery storage system for each mobile charger; o Battery size shall be 40 kWh for mobile charger with three (3) charging ports; o Battery size shall be 30 kWh for mobile charger with two (2) charging ports; o Have an emergency power panel that powers a 120-volt outlet or greater; o Have a compact design that fits within a standard parking space and allows for vehicle parking within the same space; and o Ability to support multiple charging ports per unit.
