Family & Children's Aid Inc (FCA) invites and welcomes bids for the New Milford Elevator Installation project located at the FCA site located at 325 Danbury Road New Milford, CT 06776. This project is being funded in part by Office of Policy and Management Nonprofit Grant Program. All bidders must comply with the State of Connecticut requirements in relation to this grant. FCA is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization founded in 1809 dedicated to providing high quality, innovative mental health services for children, families and adults. FCA has multiple behavioral health facilities throughout Connecticut including this New Milford site. This project includes the installation of an elevator to expand the accessibility of the site to all three floors. Licensing and Bonding i. The bidder/contractor must provide details of licenses for any proposed services that may be planned on providing for this project and must be maintained for the duration of the project. ii. For all improvement projects where the sealed contractor's bid is greater than or equal to $250,000, a performance bond naming the State as a co-obligee in an amount not less than 50% of the bid (covering the labor and material of the selected contractor for the improvement project) must be submitted and on file with the State administrating agency prior to payment of invoices. This project is NOT subject to state or federal prevailing wage requirements and reporting. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part or to waive any informalities, irregularities, omissions, or technical deficits if deemed in the best interest of the project.
