Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

New Sanitary Sewer, holding tank abandonment, PCC patching, and site restoration. Question Deadline 06/11/2025 Each Bidder shall examine the Bidding Documents carefully and, not later than seven (7) days prior to the Date for Receipt of Bids, shall make written request to the Owner for interpretation or correction of any ambiguity, inconsistency or error therein which he may discover The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion of the entire Work no later than August 8, 2025, subject to adjustments of this Contract Time as provided in the Contract Documents. A 5% bid bond is required. A 100% Performance Bond and Payment Bond will be required. Bid security shall be in the form of a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the proposal sum, issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Iowa and made payable to the Owner, or a certified check in the amount of not less than 5% of the bid. The bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds as included in the Specifications, each for one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The successful Bidder will be required to enter into a Contract within ten (10) days after acceptance of their Bid and must begin construction work covered by the Bid within ten (10) days of receipt of Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder also will be required to complete all work covered by the Bid in accordance with the Specifications and be completed by Contract Date as stated in the written proposal. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the date fixed for opening Bids Doc note - Copies of the Bid Documents may be viewed and/or obtained from A & D Technical Supply Company Inc 4320 South 89th Street, Omaha, Nebraska, 402-592-4950 upon a deposit of $150.00 payable to Iowa Western Community College plus an additional amount as determined by A & D Technical Supply Company Inc. for shipping and handling. Refundable deposit checks may be cashed and the funds held by Iowa Western Community College. Interested bidders should contact A & D Technical Supply Company Inc. to request plans be printed and available for pickup. CDs and download of the plans can be purchased from A&D Technical Supply Company Inc. with information on their website. The Owner has established a limited printing budget; when used, Bidder will need to purchase their own plans from A & D Technical Supply Company Inc. Plans must be returned to A & D Technical Supply Company Inc. within 14 calendar days after award of the project. After plans have been returned in good condition, a new check will be issued to the plan holder. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable. NOTE: Builders Cards will be accepted. Owner reserves right to waive any informality or irregularity, in any Bid. Owner further reserves right to reject any or all Bids and to re-advertise for Bids. Owner shall reject Bid of any Bidder who fails to submit qualification documentation when requested for approval, or fails to qualify.
