This project will be bid and awarded in accordance with North Carolina law. The project consists of the replacement of existing boilers, pumps, accessories, and electrical support at the Reedy Creek Middle School. Site address is 930 Reedy Creek Rd., Cary, NC 27513. The wake county public school system (wcpss) plans to perform several upgrades to the reedy creek middle school heating water plant. this upgrade will consist of replacement of two existing 2,000 mbh boilers with two high efficiency, condensing boilers with the same input capacity as existing; the replacement of existing secondary heating water pumps; the replacement of existing secondary chilled water pumps; and the replacement of existing heating water air separator and expansion tank. the existing bas plant controllers and jaces in the boiler room are existing to remain. the electrical upgrades consist of modification of electrical circuits to support hvac upgrades; the replacement of boiler room light fixtures with led fixtures; and the addition of carbon monoxide detection connected to the fire alarm system. the boiler room floor shall be professionally cleaned and all new and existing housekeeping pads shall be painted yellow in their entirety Questions concerning the project shall be submitted in writing to Jeremy Cothren, Dewberry Engineers Inc, 2610 Wycliff Road, Suite 410 Raleigh, NC 27607.
