Renovation of a municipal facility in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Project consists of replacing the elevator gear components and cab operation components. The cab body will be retained. In addition to the elevator components, work is required in the pit, hoistway, and machine room to bring the elevator up to current code. MEI Total Elevator Solutions holds the current maintenance contract for the elevator. Work outside of the elevator components includes, but is not limited to, the following: - Patching and reinforcement of the hoistway for structural integrity and fire rating - Self-closing and self-locking door on the machine room - Fire extinguisher in the machine room - Smoke detectors and fire service with dry contacts wired to the elevator controller - Fire alarm panel - Machine room lighting and GFCI convenience outlet - Pit lighting and GFCI convenience outlet - 110VAC lockable disconnect for cab lighting - Mainline disconnect - Building ground wire to the elevator - Dedicated analog phone line piped to the elevator controller - Hoistway venting and fire damper - HVAC as needed to maintain machine room and hoistway temperature between 55 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit
