SUMMARY OVERVIEW Morrow County is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for the design, supply, and installation of sloped-roof, open-sided steel shade shelter to be used in public space at the Morrow County Fairgrounds. The purpose of this RFP is to select the most qualified and responsive proposer to enter into a Contract/Price Agreement for the delivery, installation, and inspection of the shade shelters. Single Point of Contact: Sandi Pointer, Risk and Procurement Manager 215 NE Main Ave., Irrigon, OR 97844 541-989-8166 spointer@morrowcountyor.gov SCOPE OF WORK The selected contractor will: o Provide a prefabricated or custom-built steel-framed shade shelter meeting the County's specifications (Exhibit A). o Install the shelter on prepared concrete pads or footings. o Ensure structural integrity and compliance with local building codes. o Supply all labor, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the work. o Coordinate delivery and installation with County staff. o Clean the site post-installation and remove packaging/debris. Project Schedule (15 Points) The proposed project timeline and ability to complete the work by the August 1, 2025 deadline. Evaluators will assess the realism of the schedule, key milestones, and the proposer's ability to coordinate with County staff to minimize disruption. The County reserves the right to reject any proposal not in compliance with the RFP requirements or applicable law and may reject any or all proposals in whole or in part.
