Island Health has issued this Request for Proposals for the purpose of inviting proposals from construction management firms to undertake services and construction as outlined in this RFP for the renovation of the Emergency Department at Saanich Peninsula Hospital as described in the RFP documents. SPH Emergency Department is served by on open plenum exhaust above the ceiling. This is in violation of code and has allowed for an extensive buildup of dust and contaminants in the space above the ceiling tiles. This project will see the installation of a fixed return air ducting system to all ceiling vents in the emergency department, eliminating a serious infection control risk.
