Reference Number 0000295139 The Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Public Service Delivery, Asset Management, seeks to select a qualified Contractor to provide construction services (including all labour, materials, supplies and equipment) for the supply and installation of roof access system on the finance roof at the University College of the North - The Pas campus in The Pas, Manitoba. The intent of the work is to provide safe access to rooftop equipment on the roof area identified in the specifications through the supply and installation of an engineered roof access system including a ladder, walkways and platforms with guardrail. .1 The work involves the supply and installation of roof access system on the finance roof at the University College of the North - The Pas campus in The Pas, Mantioba. 2 The Contractor shall provide all labour, materials, supervision and associated services whether or not shown or specified in detail, but as required to complete the contract. The work shall include, but is not limited to the following: 1 Supply of the roof access system. 1 The roof access system shall encompass a ladder, walkways, and platforms with guardrails laid out as illustrated on the attached roof plans and product drawings. 2 Product shop drawings shall be submitted for approval and sealed drawings shall be provided hereafter. 2 Installation of the roof access system. 1 The roof access system shall be installed as per manufacturer instructions. 2 The contractor shall have the installation verified by a structural engineer who shall provide a sealed inspection report. 3 The scope of verification shall include the attachment of the system to the structure, the suitability of the structure to support the system and the assembly of the roof access system. 3 The daily clean up and housekeeping practices in the area under the contract and the making good upon completion all surfaces damaged during the performance of the work. The contractor is responsible for the removal and disposal of construction debris. .4 Contractor is responsible for determining the accurate quantities and measurements of work. Any quantities herein are intended as a general guide to scope of work. Contractor is to confirm quantities and measurements and ensure bid price reflects these quantities to achieve the intent of the project. Contractor to notify the Project Manager in writing of discrepancies discovered no later than seven (7) days prior to close of tender.
