Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in New London, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
Requirements: This requirement consists of all work, including all equipment, materials, labor and supervision necessary for the alteration and remodel of McAllister Hall, Classroom M224 at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT. Work includes remodeling of the existing classroom space to build two small work rooms and one large lecture space on the second floor of McAllister Hall. In addition, to perform selective demolition of existing finishes and systems; provide interior wall partitions, glazing, doors and frames; provide interior aluminum & glass storefront system; provide new suspended ceiling assembly, light fixtures and diffusers; modify existing mechanical equipment and ductwork; relocate light fixtures, ceiling fans and projection screen; modify existing electrical power, data cabling, fire alarm and mass notification system devices; provide new carpet, vinyl composition flooring, wall base and new paint; and provide new built-in countertop work surfaces, and bulti-in wood bookshelves. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with the RMACC III contract clauses, Specifications for Project No. 27891476, Drawings P27891476, and the applicable wage rates as incorporated herein
