Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Washington, District of Columbia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
The Contractor shall provide labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary for removal of existing built-in-shelving and desks and replacement of WRNMMC Bldg. 19 Pharmacy flooring. Replace Pharmacy Flooring Upgrades Location of the Work: WRNMMC-19 Replace Pharmacy Flooring Description of the Work: The Contractor shall provide labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary for removal of existing built-in-shelving and desks and replacement of WRNMMC Bldg. 19 Pharmacy flooring. Time for Completion: In accordance with FAR 52.211-10 Commencement, Prosecution, and Completion of Work, the Government desires completion of construction within 135 calendar days after award (includes 15 calendar days for submission and approval of bonds and insurance). Estimated Budget Amount or Price Range: In accordance with DFARS 236.204 (or FAR 36.204, depending on project size) Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range for these projects is between $250,000 and $500,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Contractor (KTR) shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the following: 2.1 Contractor shall provide all submittals and outages to the Contracting Officer's representative and receive approval prior to commencement of work. The KTR is not permitted to commence work until the outage(s), schedule, and material submittals are approved. 2.2 Contractor will not be provided a material laydown area. 2.3 Contractor shall maintain a clean work area at all times, on a daily basis. 2.4 Contractor shall verify measurements during the site walk. 2.5 Contractor shall submit an RFI(s) to the Contacting Officer's representative for any questions or clarifications needed for this SOW prior to submitting the proposal. 2.6 Contractor shall complete all work in 12 consecutive days to include handover and beginning on a Monday. See attachment WO 1822538 Reference R2. 2.7 The contractor shall utilize WRNMMC communications department for all IT items to be disconnected, moved, and/or reinstalled. The contractor shall request IT assistance at least 2 weeks in advance of the work required. 2.8 The Contractor shall use a State of Maryland licensed AHERA Asbestos Inspector to test for the presence of asbestos containing material in all Building 19 SOW areas. Contractor shall immediately notify the Contracting Officer's Representative in the event of a positive hit. Contractor shall provide a detailed report on asbestos findings. 2.9 Contractor shall verify that all new materials, including those supplied by third parties are asbestos free. Contractor shall supply a written certification letter to the Contracting Officer's Representative certifying that the finished work is asbestos free.
