If at the time of the scheduled bid opening, Brockton Public Schools is closed due to uncontrollable events such as weather or other extreme conditions, the bid opening will be postponed until the noted time on the next business day, Monday through Friday, exclusive of Holidays. Bids will be accepted until that date and time. All Bids must be properly identified as Bid # 2025 - 609 Elevator Maintenance, Repair, and Testing Services for all Brockton Public Schools and delivered prior to the official OPENING, as stated above. All bidders assume the risk of any delay in the mail, or any other delays which prevent receipt of the bid(s) at the posted bid opening date and time. Bids received after the official BID OPENING DATE AND TIME will not be considered. No facsimile, email, or any other form of electronic submission of bids is allowed. Brockton Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids when required to do so by the above referenced General Laws, or, if it deems it to be in the public interest to do so. Bidders are reminded that the Brockton School Committee collectively or individually are to be contacted, nor will they discuss any bids prior to the scheduled opening. Prior questions or concerns about the bid should be submitted to the Brockton Public Schools Procurement Manager.
