Site work for a water / sewer project in Huron, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or draft of five percent (5%) of the amount bid, and issued by a State or National Bank and made payable to the City of Huron, or in lieu thereof a bid bond of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. Such bond to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota, payable to the City of Huron, as a guaranty that the bidder will enter into a contract with the City of Huron, South Dakota. The Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted. The City of Huron reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted. The award of the bid, if awarded, will be made to the responsible Bidder with lowest Total Bid. Performance and Payment Bond: Performance and payment bonds are required for all construction contracts and must be provided in accordance with the General Conditions. All Bids shall be placed in an opaque envelope addressed to Paullyn Carey, Finance Director; City of Huron; 239 Wisconsin Ave. S.W.; P.O. Box 1369; Huron, SD 57350, and shall be labeled "Bid No. 2025-24 JERSEY AVENUE DRAINAGE IMPROVMENTS" and incorporate the name and address of the bidder on the outside of the envelope. The Bidder agrees to complete all work prior to October 31, 2025. The Bidder agrees that the right is reserved by the City of Huron to reject any or all bids.
