Site work for a civil project in Fairway, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work consists of the following improvements to the Belinder Pump Station & PEFTF: Dry Weather Pump Station upgrades: o New dry pit submersible dry weather pumps (3 duty /1 standby) o New valves, piping, and fittings o Re-route discharge for dry weather flood pump o Replace dry weather sump pumps o Replace flowmeter vault plug valve, flow meter, and installation of bypass connection o Replace existing dry weather screens with multi-rake bar screens and a screenings washer/compactor with service water used for sluicing. Wet Weather Pump Station upgrades: o New self-priming PEFTF drain pumps (1 duty / 1 standby) o New 24-in. wet weather pump discharge piping and valves o New axial flow wet weather pumps o New wet weather wetwell drain pumps and floor drain sump pumps. Facility Expansion and Code Compliance Improvements: o New Electrical Room o New Chemical Room o New Engine-Generator o Reclassification and separation of spaces o Bathroom addition o New Stairwells Screening/dumpster room and garage structure upgrades: o Increased footprint for screening dumpster room. o The existing garage structure on the southwest side of the dry weather area will be removed and replaced with a double car garage type structure. The second bay will allow the screening room to be expanded to house the new sluiceway washer/compactor and associated dumpster. Chlorination and dechlorination upgrades: o Replacement of sodium hypochlorite system, including new feed pumps, level instrumentation, and one new storage tank. o Sodium bisulfite feed system includes two feed pumps and two chemical storage tanks. HVAC and plumbing upgrades: o New heating and cooling units. o Replacement of air handling units. o Associated removals and new ductwork. o New hose faucets throughout the pump station o New 6-in. private fire hydrant o New 3-in. water line to be connected to existing 1.5-in. water line Flood-proofing: o The project includes raising of doorways, etc. to be above the known flood elevation. Site Improvements: o Paving, sidewalks, grading. o PEFTF hatch adjustments, removals and additions. o Storm drainage piping and structures. o Landscaping including removals, seeding, tree and shrub plantings. PEFTF Improvements: o Addition of dechlorination piping and diffusers. o Modifications to PEFTF basin structure to reconfigure flow into serpentine channels. o Concrete repairs and modifications. o New access hatches for PEFTF basin structure. o Modification to existing structure for operational and compliance grab sample locations. The other option would be to park and carpool from Old Mission Methodist Church, 5519 State Park Road, Fairway, KS 66205. The church has allowed us to use the south end of the parking lot.
