Work covered by this contract includes but may not be limited to site-work; construction; re-construction; alterations; remodeling or repair of the public works Project described in this paragraph 1.03 including thefollowing major work. 1. Site Contractor a. Removal and demolition of brick pavement, concrete pavement, hot mix asphalt pavement, strip, screen, and stockpile the existing topsoil, removal and demolition of the curb, installation of erosion and sedimentation controls, removal, and relocation of existing tree. b. Relocation of the existing Lombard Lamp and Memorial Bench. c. Trenching and backfilling for electrical conduit. d. Supply and installation of new concrete paving, concrete unit pavers, and bituminous concrete pavement. e. Supply and installation of new site furnishings including backless benches and waste receptacles. f. Supply and installation of loam, trees, shrubs, and groundcover and restoration of disturbed loam within the limit of work. g. Coordination with the electrical contractor on all electrical related items. h. Supply and installation of new irrigation system. i. Obtain and provide certificates of insurance as required by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) License to Entry agreement, including, but not limited to, Railroad and Transit Protective Liability insurance detailed in Section 00 31 43 Permits and Appendix C. 2. Electrical Contractor a. Supply and installation of all conduit and wiring for inground and tree-mounted lighting. b. Supply and installation of all inground and tree-mounted lighting. c. Supply and installation of the lighting cabinet and controls and equipment within the cabinet. d. Supply and installation of the irrigation cabinet and controls and equipment within the cabinet. e. Coordination with site contractor on all electrical-related items, as noted above.
