Site work for a water / sewer project in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Deviation from this submittal procedure will subject the proposal to rejection. The work of this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: The repair and rehabilitation of the 150,000 gallon, 300,000 gallon, and 600,000 gallon water storage tanks. Work consists of minor repair work and upgrades, abrasive blasting surface preparation of tanks interior and exterior, class 2a containment per sspc guide 6 and repainting the three (3) tanks. The tanks are located in the department of public works yard at 416 New Jersey avenue. Each Bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of each Contract Bid, not to exceed $20,000. Surety shall be made payable to: Borough of Point Pleasant Beach, and shall be without condition or qualification. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all Bids, if it is in the public interest to do so. This contract or subcontract is expected to be funded in part with funds from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust. Neither the State of New Jersey, the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust nor any of their departments, agencies, or employees is, or will be, a party to this contract or subcontract or any lower tier contract or subcontract. This contract or subcontract is subject to the provisions ofNJ.A.C. 7:22-3, 4, 5, 9 and 10. In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 58:1 IB-26, N.J.A.C. 7:22-3.17(a)24 and 4.17(a)24, the contractor (subcontractor) shall comply with all ofthe provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-9 for the participation of small business enterprises owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (SEDs). The contract bid, evaluation and contract award shall be in accordance with New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law NJSA 40A:ll-l et. Seq. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127, requiring each Bidder and each subcontractor to formulate and submit to the proper authorized representative ofthe State ofNew Jersey an Affirmative Action Program of equal opportunity which guarantees minorities employment in all categories. Bidders are required to comply with the requirement of N.J.S.A. 20:5-31 et. Seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. All bidders must also comply with the Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et. Seq. and the N.J.S.A. 34:IB-5.1, Chapter 150, Laws of 1963. All bidders must also comply with the labor standards provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act. Ifthe Bidder is a Corporation or a Partnership, the Bidder, in conformance with Chapter 33, P.L. 1977, shall submit with his Bid, a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all stockholders who own a 10 percent or greater interest in the firm. Time For Completion The Contractor will be required to complete the work under this Contract within Five Hundred (500) consecutive calendar days of the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
