Site work and paving for a road / highway in Dublin, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. All bids shall include providing all labor, equipment, grading, striping and materials or other things necessary to complete the projects. Payment shall be made based on quantities in place. Bid should state unit price. All work shall meet the department of transportation guidelines and requirements for resurfacing. All roadway intersections that intersect with road being resurfaced shall have properly tapered 6-foot apron to allow for smooth transition. All residential driveways will have tapered apron for smooth transition onto roadway. Contractor is responsible for all traffic control and the posting of appropriate construction signs as required by mutcd the successful bidder will submit certificate of workers comp., liability insurance and e-verify compliance when the bid is awarded. Payment and performance bond will also be required. 1) TIA Project PI# 0018682 Approximately 10 miles of a combination of asphalt widening and resurfacing on Old Macon Road. More specifically widen 5.5 miles of the Old Macon Road where delineated, 2' on each side, with 19mm asphalt @ 440lbs per SY and resurface complete 10 miles of roadway with 12.5mm asphalt @ 165 lbs. per SY beginning at intersection of Hwy 80 and ending at County Line. An interlayer course consisting of #7 stone at a rate of 25lbs per SY shall be placed on the approximately 2.70 mile section between Hwy 80 and Hwy 338. _ Approximately 2840 tons of 19 mm asphalt _ Approximately 11,616 tons of 12.5 mm asphalt _ Approximately 38,145 SY of #7 Interlayer Course _ 5" Center and edge line striping. Edge line striping should be one and a half feet off edge of pavement. 2) TIA Project PI# 0018683 Approximately 7.47 miles of asphalt widening and resurfacing on Snellbridge Road. More specifically widen all 7.47 miles of the Snellbridge Road, 2' on each side, with 19mm asphalt @ 440lbs per SY and resurface complete 7.47 miles of roadway with 12.5mm asphalt @ 165 lbs. per SY beginning at intersection of Hwy 80 and ending at County Line _ Approximately 3858 tons of 19 mm asphalt _ Approximately 8680 tons of 12.5 mm asphalt _ 5" Center and edge line striping. Edge line striping should be one and a half feet off edge of pavement. 3) Approximately 2.85 miles of asphalt resurfacing on Pinehill Road with 12.5mm asphalt @ 165lbs. per SY beginning at intersection of Hwy 19 and ending at Hwy 441 joint of pavement. _ Pavement width is 21feet _ Approximately 2897 tons of 12.5 mm asphalt _ 5" Center line and edge line striping 4) Approximately 1.00 miles of asphalt resurfacing in Holiday Circle with 12.5mm asphalt @ 165lbs. per SY beginning at intersection of Hwy 19 and ending at Hwy 19. _ Pavement width is 18 feet _ Approximately 870 tons of 12.5 mm asphalt _ 5" Center and edge line striping 5) Approximately 2.5 miles of asphalt resurfacing on Alice Brewer Road with 12.5mm asphalt @165 lbs. per SY beginning at intersection of Lord Road and ending at Hwy 26. _ Pavement width is 22 feet _ Approximately 2661 tons of 12.5 mm asphalt _ 5" Center and edge line striping 6) Approximately 0.75 miles of asphalt resurfacing on Hogan Farm Road using 12.5mm asphalt @165 lbs. per SY beginning at intersection of Cambell Road to dead end. _ Pavement width is 24 feet _ Approximately 875 tons of 12.5 mm asphalt _ 5" Center and edge line striping 7) Approximately 2.28 miles of asphalt resurfacing on Thomas Road using 12.5mm asphalt @165 lbs. per SY beginning at the intersection of Hwy 338 and ending at Hwy 80. _ Pavement width is 24 feet _ Approximately 2650 tons of 12.5 mm asphalt _ Center and edge line striping @ 5" width 8) Approximately 0.80 miles of asphalt resurfacing on Tattnall Lake Road using 12.5mm asphalt @165 lbs. per SY beginning at Hwy 441 and ending at the dead end. _ Pavement width is 21 feet _ Approximately 850 tons of 12.5 mm asphalt _ Center and edge line striping @ 5" width 9) Approximately 0.10 miles of asphalt resurfacing on Oniel Lane using 12.5mm asphalt @165 lbs. per SY beginning at the intersection of Tattnall Lake Road to dead end. _ Pavement width is 18 feet _ Approximately 90 tons of 12.5 mm asphalt _ No striping 10) Approximately 1.62 miles of asphalt resurfacing on Brantley Road using 12.5mm asphalt @165 lbs. per SY beginning at the intersection of Emory Perry Road and ending at Brewton Lovett Road. _ Pavement width is 22 feet _ Approximately 1725 tons of 12.5 mm asphalt _ Center and edge line striping @ 5" width
