Renovation of a residential development in Hopewell Junction, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Remove existing roof and replace. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to this scope of work and the attached specifications for Asphalt Shingle Roofing Systems. Work is to be completed within 45 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification and the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of the roof, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent or designee. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Remove existing shingles down to original decking. 2. Replace decking and fascia (aluminum wrapped, color matched) where necessary with appropriate size and grade. 3. Install 6' of ice and water shield on eaves and 3' on rakes and valleys. 4. Install new synthetic underlayment, drip edge, flashing, counterflashing, pipe boots, exhaust vents, starter shingles, and 30-year architectural shingles, ridge vent and chimney flashing. 5. All shingles to be installed with high wind nailing pattern. 6. Shingles shall be supplied in the color "Cedar" Each bid shall include two parts on the included cost proposal form: A. Price of roof tear off and replacement. B. Price per piece, installed, of new fascia, aluminum wrapping, and plywood decking in the event they need to be replaced during the project. Location- 1468 Route 82 Hopewell Jet, NY 12533. Work must be completed within 45 days of receiving the purchase order.
