The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to secure the services of an experienced summer grounds maintenance contractor by the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS), to supply labour, material and equipment required to provide efficient and consistent grounds maintenance services at our identified facilities in accordance with terms, conditions and specifications stated herein. The DRPS may or may not enter into an agreement as a result of the issuance of this RFP. The RFP will be evaluated according to the following: compliance with all specifications and instructions contained in the RFP, Company Background, References, Pricing/Cost, Training/Education, Proposal Quality and Presentation (if held). This contract will cover requirements for the 2025 and 2026 summer seasons. The official contract start date will be June 23rd, 2025 and contract end date Nov 14th, 2026. The 2025 season will be June 9th, 2025 until Nov 14th, 2025 and the 2026 season will be Apr 15th, 2026 - Nov 14th, 2026.
