The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to establish a contract with one qualified Supplier to install, maintain all equipment, and provide all signals necessary to receive and distribute local and satellite cable television signals to various Department of Corrections facilities throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. No questions will be answered by phone. All questions are due by COB on or before May 28th, 2025. Any revisions to the solicitation will be made only by addendum issued by the Contract Officer. This Contract is effective and legally binding as of the Effective Date and, unless terminated as provided for in this section, will be effective and legally binding for a period of two (2) years ("Initial Term"). VADOC, in its sole discretion, may renew this Contract for up to eight (8) additional one year renewal periods (each an "Extension Term") after the expiration of the Initial Term (collectively, the Initial Term and all Extension Terms are the "Contract Term"). VADOC will issue a written notification to the Contractor stating VADOC's intention to exercise a renewal period no less than 30 calendar days prior to the expiration of any current term. In addition, performance of the Contract Term may survive the expiration of the Contract Term, in which case all contractual terms and conditions required for the operation will remain in full force and effect until all of Contractor's obligations have met the final Acceptance criteria of VADOC. The Commonwealth may make such reasonable investigations as deemed proper and necessary to determine the ability of the offeror to perform the services/furnish the goods and the offeror shall furnish to the Commonwealth all such information and data for this purpose as may be requested. The Commonwealth reserves the right to inspect offeror's physical facilities prior to award to satisfy questions regarding the offeror's capabilities. The Commonwealth further reserves the right to reject any proposal if the evidence submitted by, or investigations of, such offeror fails to satisfy the Commonwealth that such offeror is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to provide the services and/or furnish the goods contemplated therein.
