PANMCC-24-P-0000-011290 The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials (unless otherwise noted), and supervision to perform annual tree and shrub maintenance. This includes pruning approximately 2,500 trees, removing approximately 400 trees, pruning between 11,000 and 16,000 linear feet of shrubs and hedges, pruning trees along the Ceremonial Mall and Memorial Avenue, and pruning wisteria vines at the James Tanner Amphitheater. The Contractor shall also provide emergency support, install, inspect, and repair cabling and lightning protection systems, and perform approximately 3,000 hours of additional ground pruning tasks annually. Maintenance tasks include air-spading, root pruning, watering small and large trees and shrubs, spraying trees and shrubs with pesticides or other products, and applying soil injections of fertilizers, pesticides, and other products. Up to 310 trees shall be planted and warranted to remain in a healthy, vigorous state for one year following initial post-planting acceptance, with the Contractor responsible for all plant care and maintenance during that period. Additionally, the Contractor shall transplant up to 10 trees annually from one or more locations within ANC or at USSAHNC (considered part of ANC unless otherwise noted).
