** As of July 07,2025 project will rebid but No definite date for rebid.** Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq This project involves the renovation of existing sand bunkers, removing existing sand bunkers and the construction of new sand bunkers. The work under this Item consists of the Contractor installing and maintaining silt fence around all construction areas adjacent to slopes, streams, ponds and topsoil stockpiles, as directed in the field by the GCS and/or GCA. The work also includes the removal of the silt fence by the Contractor after the construction areas are stabilized. The Contractor can start upon a signed contract and shall be completed with substantial completion on all 9 holes no later than October 31,2025. All punch list items, and the submission of GPS As-built drawings shall be completed by November 14, 2025. (Dates may vary depending on the date of the signed contract.) EXTRA SHAPING - The work underthis Item consists of extra shaping (grading) for areas requiring more than normal shaping. Normal shaping is included in all items, such as "Sand Bunker Construction." Extra Shaping shall include bulldozer or excavator work asked for and approved by the GCA. Extra Shaping must be approved by the GCA in writing (via email) before extra shaping is done. SAND BUN KER CONSTRUCTION - The work under this Item consists of the Contractor and Shaper building or rebuilding sand bunkers, as designed in the field by the GCA. This work includes: removing existing bunker sand; removing existing drainage; stripping and removing turf around existing bunkers; shaping or reshaping of the bunker according to the GCA field design and field sketches; installing 4" drainage lines in the bunkers; installing two 8" vents outside the bunker (one on the high side and one on the low side); supplying and placing approved bunker sand; spreading and vibratory tamping bunker sand. All sodding around finished bunker shall be according to and paid for under Item 600. All drainage extending from the vents outside the bunker will be paid under Item 400.
