Site work and renovation of a golf course in Boca Raton, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a golf course; and for site work for a golf course.
The scope of work includes the repair, renovation, and modernization of City property, including but not limited to the clubhouse, buildings on the site, auxiliary structures, the golf course, and all structures or features on the golf course, the maintenance areas, the golf cart barn, landscape and civil site work. Such contact is to be for clarification purposes only. Material changes, if any, to the RFP will only be transmitted by written addendum and shall be made in accordance with the RFP instructions. QA - 6/10/25: The architect for the Boca Raton Golf and Racquet Club is Sparedesign. An architect for Red Reef has not yet been selected. The Scope of Work as identified below is intended to provide the Proposer with an outline of anticipated services required. As detailed in the sample agreement, the project will be done as limited Phase 1 (pre-construction services) and Phase 2 (construction services). The Awarded Proposer will function as a General Contractor responsible for publicly bidding Subcontracts scheduling and coordination, and the successful, timely and economical completion of the projects. The Awarded Proposer will provide preconstruction and construction services and will be responsible for constructing the projects pursuant to a guaranteed maximum price for each project. The Scope of Services will be as defined in the form of an Amendment to the Agreement between the City and the Construction Manager (CM). The projects will consist of all construction elements required to perform services as per the plans and construction documents to be prepared by an Architectural and Engineering firm to be selected by the City. including but not limited to, the following: o Permitting o Cost Estimating o Demolition and site work o Interior renovations, to include finishes and furniture o New construction o Underground utility relocation o Structural Work o Civil Infrastructure 13 o Mechanical, electrical (to include low voltage) and plumbing systems o Fire suppression and monitoring o Security and information technology o Sustainable infrastructure o Fencing o Lighting o Landscaping o Golf Course Construction / Renovation The Scope of Work may include additional civil engineering, horizontal and vertical construction to be determined after further assessment of the needs at each site over the term of the Agreement. Examples of the work at each location may include but not limited to the following: o Buildings: Interior and exterior building upgrades, to also include but not be limited to, architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects. o Golf Course: Improvements to include but not limited to site upgrades such as golf course hole(s) relocation, driving range, and other site amenities which may include civil work as necessary. o Miscellaneous rehabilitation, renovation, or upgrades: Upgrades at either City golf course facility that may include, but not be limited to, miscellaneous architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects. o New amenities: Construction of new golf course or operational amenities as directed by the City.
