The Port is seeking qualifications from engineering firms to conduct a feasibility study for the construction of two separate projects to improve access to the Port of Galveston. The purpose of the study is to assess the technical, financial, environmental, and operational viability of each project. o IH-45 Direct Connect (CSJ 0500-01-157) o Old Port Industrial Improvements (CSJ 0912- 73-243) Question Deadline 06/24/2025 at 2:00 PM CT Questions shall be submitted electronically through online. Information concerning the criteria by which the qualifications will be evaluated, and a contract will be awarded are included in the qualifications package and specifications included therein. Respondents may withdraw their response, either personally or by written request, at any time prior to the scheduled due date and time. The Galveston Wharves may hold the responses for 60 days (or such other timeframe required by law) after the date set for the opening without making a decision and the respondents may not withdraw their bid(s) within that time. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all of the responses, in whole or in part, and to accept the response or responses, in whole or in part, for any reason or to negotiate with any and all respondents and waive any informality in responses received. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
