Purpose: Galveston County issues this Request for Qualifications solicitation to seek professional engineering and surveying services for the High Island Waterline Improvement Project on the Bolivar Peninsula in Galveston County. Bonding Requirements: No bond is required with this Request for Qualification. DEBARMENT AND SUSPENSION: To participate in this solicitation, respondent certifies that neither it, nor any of its Principals, are presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, disqualified, excluded, or in any way declared ineligible for the award of contracts by any Federal agency. All contractors/ subcontractors that are debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project. The Galveston County Commissioners’ Court reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid or bids which, in its opinion, is most advantageous to Galveston County with total respect the governing laws.
