For Demolition of Two Houses Galveston College reserves the right to further negotiate with acceptable vendors. House Demolition (applicable to each house) 1. Obtain demolition permits (as needed). 2. Contact dig-alert at least three days prior to the start of any demolition work. 3. Mobilize equipment and manpower to the job site once utilities have been disconnected (by Galveston College) and demo permit pulled. 4. Provide temporary construction site fencing around the demolition work areas for the duration of the demolition work. E. Provide portable temporary sanitary services for job site throughout work. 5. Removal of typical universal wastes from the house (light ballasts, fluorescent tubes and mercury thermostats) prior to demolition. Refrigerants will be removed by Galveston College. Structurally demolish, load and dispose of the existing wood-framed, 1-story houses (3802 Ave. R ~ 1,900 SF and 3806 Ave. R ~2,300 SF), including overhangs, deck, porches and detached garage down to piers. 6. . Remove and recycle concrete steps, sidewalk, drive, piers (houses) and slab (sheds). 7. Pick the site of any visible demolition debris. Includes all trees. 8. Provide rough grade of site for proper drainage and hydroseeding of disturbed areas. 9.
