This contract will be effective for one (1) year with renewal options for two (2) additional one-year periods (as listed below), at the District's option and with the acceptance by the awarded vendor(s). In the event this proposal expires before another proposal is awarded, the vendor shall extend the contract on a month-to-month basis by mutual agreement. First Year September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2026 Second Year September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027 (Option) Third Year September 1, 2027 through August 31, 2028 (Option) Jim Hogg County ISD is seeking qualified vendors to provide full coverage preventive and corrective maintenance services for all heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) and related mechanical systems owned and operated by the District. The District's goal is to engage the services of one or more vendor(s) that will maintain the equipment and systems in a manner that, according to the manufacturer's recommended performance standards, provides the highest level of efficiency and occupant comfort, minimizes unscheduled downtime, and extends equipment life. RIGHTS OF THE DISTRICT - Jim Hogg County Independent School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations and/or bids and waive all informalities and irregularities and to accept or reject each item separately or as a whole, whatever is deemed most advantageous to the District. This inquiry implies no obligation on the part of the buyer, nor does the buyer's silence imply any acceptance or rejection of any offer. By submitting a bid, the vendor agrees to waive any claim that it might have against the District regarding any claim made in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any bid.
