Electrical Contracting Services Jim Hogg County Independent School District, "the District," intends to enter into a contract for a time and material agreement for electric service, repair, and installation work to be performed throughout the District on an as needed basis through August 2023. Hourly rates for electrical service work are requested. Job specifications shall be provided on a per job basis by the School District Department. The District expects to award this proposal in September 2023. This contract will be effective for one (1) year with renewal options for two (2) additional one year periods (as listed below), at the District's option and with the acceptance by the awarded vendor(s). In the event this proposal expires before another proposal is awarded, the vendor shall extend the contract on a month-to-month basis by mutual agreement. Sealed proposals will be publicly opened in accordance with Texas Education Code Law 44.031. However, the proposals will be "under evaluation," until final awards are determined. Results will become available for public review seven business days after approval by the Board of Trustees. This proposal shall be awarded to the successful Vendor(s) by confirmation letter. Contracts for purchase shall be put into effect by means of purchase order(s) executed by the District's Purchasing Office after this proposal has been awarded. NOTE: The District reserves the right to award contracts for any, all, or none of the parts and/or items of this proposal request. Jim Hogg County Independent School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations and/or bids, and waive all informalities and irregularities and to accept or reject each item separately or as a whole, whatever is deemed most advantageous to the District.
