Bidder is Required to Possess a California Contractors C-39 License. License Must Be Active and in Good Standing at the Time of the Bid Opening and Remain So Throughout the Duration of Contract. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact Travis Johnson at CCA (916/263-6121) or tjohnson@ccauthority.org Question Deadline 06/20/2025 Project description o The project scope of work is presented below: * Maine-Prairie, Silveyville, and main entry gate Remove existing composition shingle roof. Inspect the roof deck and rafters for damaged wood and dry rot and replace/repair as necessary with new wood. Provide Unit Costs, see Bid Form. Fabricate and install new prefinished sheet metal flashings Supply and install a premier composition shingle roof (i.e., GAF Timberline HDZ composition shingle, or equal), with applicable accessories, i.e. ridge cap. A nine-inch (9") starter strip to be placed around the perimeter of the roof. Shingle color to be selected by Fair. Supply and install two (2) layers, 15-pound high performance felt over wood deck/sheathing. Shingles to have a minimum 25-year warranty and be installed per the manufacturer's specification, by a contractor certified by the material manufacturer, specifications to be equal or better than presented in Appendix C. Existing gutters and downspouts to remain in-place. Any damage to the gutters/downspouts to be the responsibility of the Contractor * Madden Hall and attached roofs Remove the existing foam roof system and built-up roof systems. Disconnect, raise and modify the existing HVAC curbs and duct work for the installation of a new roof system. Flush and clear the existing roof drains. Add (2) overflow roof drains - 1at the mechanical roof section with parapet walls and 1 at the lower roof system. Installation of new 22ga rain gutters and downspouts. Installation of 2" rigid insulation to meet current building code requirements. Installation of a mechanically attached 1/4 " Secure Rock underlayment board. Installation of a 60mil TPO membrane roof system. Installation of walkway pads around the HVAC equipment and designated roof access point. * Denverton Hall Entry Removal and replacement of the "Roof to Wall" flashing between the upper and lower roof systems. Installation of prefinished white metal closures at rake conditions. Repair cracks in stucco wall with acrylic cement and re-enforcing fabric. Apply 2 coats of white elastomer coating over the stucco then paint to match the building color. Removal of the existing gutters, then lower the gutters to allow for the water to flow out away from the roof edge. Install new foam closures beneath the metal roof panels. Modifications to the existing downspouts as required. * Denverton Hall Remove and replace compromised neoprene washers and screws with new 3/8" oversized screws and washers. Prep and seal existing roof per manufacture's guidelines. Install liquid-applied GAF Acrylic HT or equivalent coating system. All roofs to include 20 year Diamond Pledge, or equivalent, manufacturer's "no dollar limit" material and labor warranty. Provide manufacturer's approval/inspections as required.
