Pickens County, hereinafter referred to as "The County" is seeking qualified consulting firms to provide engineering consulting and design services on an as-needed basis. The goal of the County is to select four (4) or more firms to provide various engineering-related services on an on-call basis. The process will include reviewing qualifications, selecting qualified firms, then execution of contracts. If short listing and interviews are needed, this will be done prior to selection. This is a 3-year agreement with three (3) additional one-year renewal options. Work is not guaranteed. Each future project is separate and shall be negotiated. The scope of work will include but not be limited to general engineering services, surveying, structural, sewer, environmental, transportation engineering, permitting, road design, bridge design, utility coordination, construction administration / project management and other miscellaneous related services. All submittals must be sealed and shall be validated. No submittals will be accepted after the due date and time, regardless of postmark. Submittals received after the due opening time will be filed unopened. Pickens County reserves the right to shortlist firms that it deems are in the best interest of the County based solely on qualifications.
