The Capital Regional District (CRD) Regional Water Supply system delivers drinking water to approximately 420,000 residents in 13 municipalities and 1 electoral area, within the Greater Victoria Area. In addition, the CRD is also responsible for the supply and distribution of potable water to the municipalities of Langford, Colwood, View Royal, Metchosin, Sooke and the Highlands. The CRD is to prequalify one or more prospective contractors under several different Contracted Services categories depending on the Contractors area(s) of expertise. Resulting contracts will be on an "as and when needed" basis with no guarantee of a minimum. The CRD reserves the right not to respond to inquiries made less than seven (7) calendar days prior to Closing Time. The initial term of this agreement will be a two (2) year period anticipated to begin on or around July 15, 2025, subject to final execution of the agreements. By mutual agreement the start date may be altered by the parties. The CRD reserves the right to extend this agreement for three (3) additional one-year periods, provided agreement to do so is reached between the CRD and the Prequalified Supplier no later than thirty (30) calendar days prior to the expiration of the current agreement.
