Renovation of a municipal facility in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This is the Phase 2 solicitation following an Invitation to Qualify. Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid. Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) has a requirement for remediation work at the Canadian Coast Guard Victoria Base located at 25 Huron Street, Victoria, BC. The objective of the work is to renew specific building components that are currently underperforming to mitigate potential future water ingress and framing damage and to improve their performance. This includes targeted cladding, windows, lighting, and door remediation at the Buoy Maintenance building, with two (2) options for additional work (Workshops, and MEHR buildings) on the Victoria Base. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately between $500,001.00 and $1,000,000.00 (GST included).
