Site work and renovation of a civil project in Brunswick, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

**As of August 25, 2025, the project was awarded to JH Stone Construction but the awarded amount is not available.** Deadline for questions Wednesday, July 2, 2025, no later than 5:00 p.m. EDT. Questions must be directed in writing (via e-mail) to the Purchasing Director, Pamela Drury-Crosby, email- pcrosby@bgjwsc.org Each site currently has an existing septic tank in place. Brunswick-Glynn County Water and Sewer Commission in-house staff will pump septic tanks for decommission and dispose of waste. The selected contractor will then install and connect lateral lines to the existing public sewer main. Pre and post-installation photos will be required from Contractor for their portion of the work. Final inspections from Glynn County Department of Environmental Health and documentation of final approval and satisfactory completion will be required. Therefore, a detailed sequence of work is required. The sequence of work will address the notice time for Public Service Announcements to property owners, Brunswick-Glynn County Water and Sewer Commission staff decommission / pump out activities and lead time to coordinate inspections with Glynn County Environmental Health Department personnel. Pipe and cleanout materials will be pre-purchased by Brunswick-Glynn County Water and Sewer Commission and provided to the Contractor for installation. Sand will also be provided by Brunswick-Glynn County Water and Sewer Commission for backfill. For pricing purposes, please include a per ft price for sewer pipe installation, installation of upper cleanout, site restoration and any mark-up percentages applied to these items for a total, per parcel site price. All services performed shall be in accordance with the applicable Brunswick-Glynn County Water and Sewer Commission Standards. Firms expressing interest should be fully capable of providing the end results requested. All bids must cover the entire work required under this contract. Under this project, the work will be released in batches of (25) parcels at one time with (60) days to complete the batch. Pay applications may be submitted on the 1st and the 15th of each month for all parcels that have completed installations and final inspection documentation from Glynn County Environmental Health Department. At the request of the Brunswick-Glynn County Water and Sewer Commission project manager, the Contractor will be responsible for having a representative attend any public meetings that are held regarding this project. This may include community and citizen that may or may not be scheduled outside of typical 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. working hours. Responses received after the deadline or at any other locations will not be accepted. JWSC will use in-house staff to pump septic tanks for decommissioning and dispose of waste. o Installation and hook-ups of lateral lines to the sewer will be performed by Contractor. o JWSC will pre-purchase and provide pipe and cleanout materials as well as fill sand to the Contractor. o Glynn County Department of Environmental Health will conduct sewer system inspections. o Contractor will be responsible for site restoration. Ideally, the installations will occur in batches of (25) to minimize disruption and ensure quick completion (within 60 days) of the coordinated tasks for specific portions of the project area. Additionally, timely coordination and communication with the Commission's project manager and public information staff is essential. All pertinent information regarding work schedules, any anticipated service delays or disturbances to residents' access to either their homes and/or streets within the work area must be a priority Contractor will be a proactive participant in the public education and outreach sessions and timely communicate their schedules and work activities with JWSC and DPH personnel. Coordination with agency staff, residents and other community stakeholders will be a critical element for the Contractor to consider as they conduct the physical work of this project.
