Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in New Bern, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The City of New Bern, NC, an "Equal Opportunity Employer", intends to reconstruct Gaston Boulevard, approximately 600-feet in length from Neuse Boulevard. The scope of work includes the installation of a new sidewalk along the east side of Gaston Boulevard, approximately 600-feet, and reconstruction of the street. The City of New Bern, NC will require engineering services of a professional engineering firm to prepare plans, specifications and bid documents and to assist the City with bidding, bid award procedures, construction contract administration and to provide construction inspection, as needed. Glenburnie Rd., PO Box 1129, New Bern, NC 28563, by phone (252) 639-7522, or email: fishel.david@newbernnc.gov. Qualifications must be submitted electronically using the subject of “Statement of Qualifications for Gaston Boulevard Improvements” to fishel.david@newbernnc.gov and be received no later than 5:00 PM prevailing time on June 30, 2025. Any and all Qualifications not submitted electronically or after the due date and time will be rejected. The City of New Bern Reserves the Right to Reject any/all Statement of Qualifications.
