The HVAC units at Tryon Palace History Center are failing and are unable to properly condition the space. The HVAC system requires a complete replacement to include 7 air handlers, 2 chillers, and 2 boilers and the Controls. The building, which opened in 2010, is approximately 60,000 SF and serves as visitor center, museum galleries, theaters, performance hall, rotating exhibit gallery, collection storage, offices, store, and café.
