The Iowa DOT is seeking competitive quotes for the crushing of a pile of broken concrete and mobilization for the crushing of the concrete at 4 garage sites starting 7/1/2025 and to be completed by 6/30/2026. CLASS A CRUSHED STONE. Meet the requirements for Gradation No. 11 of the Aggregate Gradation Table, Article 4109.02 (included in attachments). All stockpiles estimated over 2000 tons will require a QC gradation and must be reported to District 1 Materials on an 8201278 form. District 1 Materials will obtain a random verification gradation for acceptance. Contractor must be able to remove rebar from material. Contractor should also have a grizzly to remove excess dirt and fines from crushed material. Any rebar may become property of the contractor. Crushed material to be piled at same location. Estimated quantity of 1,176.98 tons is an approximation and should be verified. Contract Award One contract will be awarded for all items. All items are tired. Contractors must bid on all items within the groups to be considered for award. Question Submission Close Date 7/11/2025 1:00 PM CDT
