Demolition and site work for a residential development in Hastings, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
City of Hastings, Nebraska is requesting bids for the demolition of a house structure at 502 East D Street on a vacant lot. The demolition includes removal of the 1923 house structure estimated to be 770st, and removal of debris and foundation, replacing with fill dirt and ground leveling (see Parcel Assessor Report). All disposal fess should be captured in the bid. Asbestos inspection and abatement were completed in May 2025. The Hastings CRA received a grant from the Rural Community Recovery Program (RCRP) by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, to fund this project. All work related to this project must be completed no later than AUGUST 30, 2025. The bid selection will be made at a Hastings CRA special meeting no later than July 7. Only fixed price contracts will be considered. The Hastings CRA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
