This project shall include drilling test holes; collecting and describing drill cuttings; furnishing and installing well casing and screen; constructing and developing new ground water monitoring and livestock wells; installing and equipping submersible pumps in the wells; installing and wiring solar panel power for the livestock wells; installing 1,000 gallon metal tanks for the livestock wells; installing concrete pads and locking covers on the monitoring wells; installing concrete pads on the livestock wells; pulling the pump column and untangling wiring/cabling on an existing monitoring well; pulling the pump column and repairing replacing the pump on an existing monitoring well; and repairing site damages. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, tools, machinery, materials, supplies, labor, and services, and shall obtain and submit all permits and water well registrations necessary for the completion of this project. The successful bidder shall 1) possess a current water well contractor's license and pump installation contractor's license and retain these licenses until the project has been completed (in accordance with the Water Well Standards and Contractors' Licensing Act, Nebraska Revised Statutes 46-1201 to 46-1241); 2) supply a corporate surety bond in an amount not less than the estimated price, conditioned for the payment of all laborers and mechanics for labor that shall be performed and for the payment for material and equipment rental which is actually used or rented in performing the contract; and 3) furnish proof of adequate insurance as required by LPSNRD. These requirements must be filed with and approved by LPSNRD prior to commencement of the project.
