The City of Palatka is seeking bids from a qualified and licensed contractor(s) for removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks within the City of Palatka, Florida. The Construction will include removal of existing 5-foot wide sidewalks and replacing with 8-foot-wide sidewalks along various roadways within the city. Elements of the work include clearing and grubbing, demolition of sidewalks and curb ramps, installing new curb and gutter, installing new sidewalk, curb ramps, and detectable warnings as indicated in the plans. This project is funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, and awarded and administered by the Florida Department of Commerce under subgrant agreement 22CV-S05. Respondents are required to submit one (1) original and one (1) digital copy on a thumb drive in a sealed envelope marked "RESPONSE TO ITB 2025-07 CDBG COVID MITIGATION GRANT SIDEWALKS". Hand-carried and express mail bids may be delivered prior to the due date and must be delivered to the above address ONLY between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., local time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays observed by the City. Hand-carried and express mail proposals delivered on the due date must be received between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and the bid closing time.
