A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Town of Taos (Owner) is requesting Sealed Bids for the construction of the following Project: Taos Regional Airport Water and Wastewater Utilities The project includes the following Work: The Town of Taos is soliciting bids for the installation of temporary and permanent water and wastewater utilities at the Taos Regional Airport. The need for temporary utilities for operational and safety purposes will be determined at the start of construction. The project will consist of the construction and installation of the following components: Drinking water utilities: o 8-inch distribution waterline serving facilities at the Airport,including all valves, and fittings. o New fire hydrants o Service line to yard hydrant Wastewater utilities: o Duplex pump lift stations at each of the on-site facilities requiring service connections o High-density polyethylene (HDPE) low pressure sewer line o 2,500-gallon septic tank and duplex leach field dosing pump so Subsurface disposal field for treated effluent o New security fencing around leach field and septic tank To be considered for this work, bidders must have current New Mexico Business licenses, and must also have the appropriate General Contractor license required by the State. An engineer and Town official will conduct the meeting at the site and answer questions. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.
